Year 5 took a trip to the Science Museum and had an exhilarating time! We explored the materials exhibit, to test and try out different products, walked on the glass bridge (and even took a selfie!) and got to enter the Wonderlab! Year 5 had the best time in the Wonderlab where they got to slide down different materials slides, use forces to pull themselves up and even got to participate in a static electricity demo.

“The museum was filled to the brim with activities, displays, and shows. Many of our young minds went POP! The space exhibit was so amazing and you could touch so many things around the museum.” – Tia

“At the electrical zone, we played on screens and poked at the dangerous zap machine. That was my favourite part. Later, we wandered around the wonderlab, which was a maze of science wonders. We got to pull ourselves up on pulleys and had races of gravitational force with each other (and even our teacher). Afterwards, we whizzed down the three materials slides that were made out of wood, turf, and plastic. The trip was so fun!” – Jacob

“I’ve never seen anything like this!” – Leona
