Simon Marks Jewish Primary School celebrated Chanukah with three amazing shows for their parents and carers. KS1 performed the first show using singing, dancing and performances to explain how and why we celebrate Chanukah.
KS2’s performance featured a shadow show, a performance about the story of Chanukah, Poems turned into rap songs with dancing and a presentation about candles and the importance of light in faiths around the world.
EYFS completed our performances with a wonderful show including singing and dancing and answering questions about the festivals.

“Year 3’s Chanukah show was based on light and dark. It was linked to science just as much as Chanukah. We did several shadow puppet show. Overall it was really fun and I think everyone enjoyed it” Nina – Year 3
