School Day

For pupils in reception to Year 6, the school day begins at 9am and ends at 3.30pm. The school gates will open from 8.45am.

As the evenings get longer and the days get shorter in the winter, we finish early on a Friday to prepare for Shabbat. So, from October half term until the end of February the school day ends at 1.30pm on Fridays. From early March, as the evenings become a little lighter, the school day ends at 3pm on Fridays. From the onset of BST, school finishes at 3.30pm on Fridays.

We have a wide range of professionally-run after-school activities and clubs; from 3.30 – 4.30 pm Monday to Thursdays. Our status as an extended school is also enhanced by our Breakfast Club, which opens at 8.00 am.

For nursery children, the morning sessions begin at 9.00am until 12pm; afternoon sessions from 12.30 – 3.30pm. Part-time places are allocated free of charge; there is a cost for full-time nursery provision, details of which can be found here. Some places may be funded by the local authority according to need.
