Vision Statement
In the Early Years at Simon Marks we aim to inspire confident learners through a culture of high expectations that continuously celebrates the social, academic and emotional success of our pupils. We believe that every child is unique and should be fully supported to develop and flourish in a safe and nurturing environment where play and learning is combined. We value the importance of outdoor play and strongly believe that learning should be fun; therefore, we provide a range of real life experiences which develop children’s thinking and problem solving skills, and instil in them a sense of respect for the environment and the creatures living within it. We pride ourselves on listening to the children and those who care for them and using this information to personalise each child’s learning. Our hard-working team is committed to giving the children the best possible start in their school life, teaching them skills which will ensure their well-being now and their success in the future.
